Hillside Toilet

Almost hidden from view, I had to climb a hill and hold the camera above my head to snap this one. It’s way out in somebody’s back yard so I guess it’s yard art?  March 26, 2010, south of Madison, WI.

Equinox Toilets

A day after the last snowfall and a day before the official start of Spring, we found this colorful fellow blooming in a field among the first sprouting flower buds.

March 19, 2010: North of Forward, WI.

A few hours later we found a much less attractive specimen hiding among the melting snow and fermenting garbage.

Hard to see, huh?

Yuck. March 19, 2010: Mt Horeb, WI.

Florida Toilet

It’s been a long, toilet-free winter in Wisconsin, so what a surprise to take a vacation to Florida and find a toilet waiting for us there!

In case you can’t tell, it’s a lovely pale pinky-peach color – exactly the color I always associate with Florida.

Duck, duck, goose

One of these things is not like the other. Incidentally, this is the same house that had a lone toilet out on November 14. But it’s definitely not the same toilet (you learn to spot the subtle differences). November 24, 2009: Madison, WI.

Half bath, half toilet

Autumn sunshine. November 14, 2009: Madison, WI.

Barely a block away, a whole bathroom, but with only half the toilet.

We went back later, but never did see the toilet bowl itself come out. Maybe they kept it?

Halloween Toilets

Madison, WI: First we saw this guy hiding in the trash.

Right next door, someone had set this decor out to scare the trick-or-treaters.

Happy Halloween!
